About
TFinAI is a trade-name of The Future is now AI, LLC — a Washington professional scientific and technical services company founded in 2024 by Seth Briney.
TFinAI was built around a future-oriented vision of technology: intelligent systems, adaptive infrastructure, secure communications, automation, and advanced computing engineered not merely to keep pace with technological change, but to move ahead of it decisively.
We believe the organizations that thrive in the coming decades will be those that adapt early, automate intelligently, engineer resilient systems, and integrate AI strategically rather than reactively. Our mission is to help launch individuals and businesses into that future through advanced engineering, scientific thinking, and aggressive technological innovation.
Scientific & Engineering Foundations
TFinAI is rooted in scientific thinking, systems engineering, adaptive infrastructure design, advanced computing, and real-world technical problem solving.
Seth Briney earned master's degrees in mathematics and computer science from Western Washington University, with graduate work focused on artificial intelligence, intelligent control systems, and statistical decision making.
This included research involving large-scale office building forecasting and intelligent HVAC control systems connected to Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL).
Engineering the Future
TFinAI focuses on adaptive systems and future-oriented infrastructure that go beyond conventional IT consulting or commodity software deployment.
We design intelligent environments, secure networking systems, custom communications infrastructure, AI-assisted workflows, automation pipelines, distributed systems, and advanced integrations tailored specifically to the operational realities of the client.
Our goal is not simply to install technology, but to engineer systems that increase capability, accelerate adaptation, reduce operational friction, and create technological advantages that compound over time.
We are especially interested in systems that blur the boundary between infrastructure, intelligence, automation, and decision support — systems that actively help organizations think faster, operate more efficiently, and evolve ahead of competitors.
Adaptive Infrastructure & Intelligent Systems
Much of modern technology is built around rigid ecosystems and generalized assumptions. TFinAI takes the opposite approach.
We engineer individualized technical systems designed around the customer rather than around vendor limitations. This includes secure remote infrastructure, self-hosted systems, encrypted communications, intelligent automation, adaptive networking, private cloud environments, AI integration, advanced analytics, and specialized technical architectures that do not exist as off-the-shelf products.
We are particularly drawn to technically difficult environments, unusual constraints, ambitious projects, and problems that require creative systems thinking rather than standardized solutions.
Research, Experimentation & Technical Breadth
TFinAI operates with a strong research and experimentation mindset.
Our interests span reinforcement learning, deep learning, intelligent control systems, forecasting, automata theory, distributed systems, cyber security, networking, scientific simulation, advanced software engineering, intelligent automation, statistical modeling, and emerging computational technologies.
We believe some of the most important advances in technology come from interdisciplinary thinking — combining mathematics, engineering, computation, and creativity in ways that traditional organizational boundaries often discourage.
TFinAI exists partly to explore those intersections aggressively and turn them into practical systems that create real-world advantages.
Mission
The future is arriving faster than most organizations are prepared for.
Artificial intelligence, automation, distributed infrastructure, adaptive systems, and intelligent decision support are rapidly transforming how businesses operate, compete, and survive.
TFinAI exists to help clients move ahead of that curve — not cautiously trailing technological change, but actively leveraging it to build stronger, faster, more intelligent, and more adaptable organizations.
We are not interested in maintaining the status quo. We are interested in engineering what comes next.
